Beachgrass

Beachgrass, from Santa Barbara, California, is a group of merry musical friends who dig a down home good time jam. Inspired by days at the beach and nights around a fire, singin’ at the moon, their harmony driven tunes take influence from ‘island vibes’ to Appalachia. Combining their years of various musical experience, plus a shared love of musical styles from folk and bluegrass to blues, rock and reggae, has made playing together their grooviest of adventures. With Karina Dawn Line on guitar, banjo, and vocals, Josh Jenkins on mandolin, guitar, and vocals, Dave Cowan (of Claude Hopper) on bass, Alisa Brewer on percussion and vocals, and Karen Seade on washboard, fiddle, and vocals, these Beachgrassers play original songs and covers from across a wide variety of genres in their own particular style, and smiles…
