Zeplin

Emerging from the shadows, a breakthrough talent is born. Philadelphia born, Los Angeles based Zeplin tears into the techno world with her first release on New York Label, Reflekt Records in October 2018.

Classically trained at the prestigious Pennsylvania Ballet and Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts. Kristin, (otherwise known as Zeplin) showed a keen interest for music and performing. From a young age she studied along side world-renowned Broadway dancers, actors and musicians. Kristin furthered her studies at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NY and received a BFA in Musical Theater from the New School University. While studying in NY, Kristin stumbled upon a new love, djing.

Inspired by the early sounds of Enrico Sangiuliano, in 2013 Zeplin began working on her original productions. Gaps in her dj set motivated her to create the music that she was once unable to find. She took her time to perfect her signature dark, driving techno sound.

While searching for a home for her first EP, she received praised feedback from some of techno’s elites considering her one to watch out for in 2019. Reflekt label owner Liam, took notice of the records right away and wasted no time signing them.
