Sister Stone

Sister Stone offers her sexy, soulful, classic feel, soul and hip-hop music to spread messages of reverence and praise for our Earth and honor our individual and collective healing, as a way to reconnect with ourselves as Nature.

Her music invokes a remembrance we are water, we are Earth - to inspire our reciprocal relationship with our world. Sister Stone is a gifted lyricist which is where all of her songs stem, as written prayers, solutions, and healing for our bodies and the body of the Earth.

Born and raised in Metro-Detroit, Sister Stone spent her youth years in vocal lessons, performing with choirs, creating solo music projects and performing with bands. The stage has been her home since the age of 3 and she was born a natural performer, alluring and magnetizing crowds with her fiesty, spunky and embodied presence.

Sister Stone has opened for Climbing Poetee, Lyla June, played the main stage of Lucidity Festival 2019, performed as a main act of Bioneers 2-years in a row with her former group Awun, and continues to grow into her solo music career as she launches her first EP ‘Reciprocal Relations’ in January 2020.

Her music weaves sultry, 90’s-feel, bassy beats with the bare-foot seeding of prayers and gratitude for this precious and fragile Earth, and a call for each of us to step into our wholeness.
