Fishbon Arts Collective’s Lucid Olympics

Fishbon is one of the foundations that underpin the Lucidity Festival - an organization that encircles a community of extraordinary dreamers. In fact, the festival might never have happened if the Santa Barbara arts incubator had not brought the founding team together. Specializing in the estranged, deranged, irreverent, theatrical, whimsical and environmental, while incorporating hard-hitting science and technology, Fishbon is but the tip of an iceberg yet to be fully discovered.

Its mission is to encourage collaboration between artists, technologists, writers, designer, performers and participants to create unique, real-time, compelling aesthetic experiences that speak to contemporary audiences.

By providing content, physical infrastructure, tools, mentoring support and encouragement for creative collaboration, Fishbon is an experiential incubator for emerging cooperative working models. Much more about the process experience than the final product, Fishbon creates a diverse “interactive” learning community that would be difficult to achieve in isolated individual working environments.

Fishbon is a 501 (c) (3) arts organization, founded in 2000.
