Kalee Choiniere

KALEE BLY CHOINIERE is a muralist, painter, illustrator, chef, and writer born and raised in Providence, RI. She graduated with a BS in food science & dietetics from Johnson & Wales University in 2016, and since, has used paint to merge her interest in the ethereal, energetic body with the chemical process of cooking— the expanding, melting, collapsing, twisting, reductionary movement of the natural world. Each work of hers is accompanied by a stream of consciousness writing or poetry that give a deeper foreshadowing of her internal dialogue.
