S’akiibaum

S’akiibaum is the glitch bass project of Summer B-Smith, a New York native living in California. Committed to bringing a living, breathing sound to the world of bass music, S’akiibaum seeks to spread awareness, eudaimonia, and feminine empowerment through musical treasures that meld the drippity bloopity sounds of your mind’s consciousness with the deep, bassy tones of the Earth. Her music is glitchy, it’s funky, and peppered with experimental sound design, hip hop rhythms, and earth-quaking bass.

S’akii is a resident of Bass Exploration Unit with previous engagements including Lucidity Festival, FireDrums, Quasar Festival, Kosmic Gardenz, and ABunDance (LA).
