Maya is a multi-talented dancer, LED and fire performer who was first attracted to the flow arts through her passion for belly dance. She combines her dancing skills with her flow arts to captivate and mesmerize audiences. Maya uses a variety of props including: fire and LED fans, palm torches, dragon staff, fire sword, fire and LED hoop, and she even integrates fire eating into her routines. She has performed at several notable festivals including Same Same But Different, Umbrella Weekend, Karnival of the Arts, and Triptych Reunion. Maya also performs at local San Diego music venues and restaurants. When Maya isn’t showcasing her talents publicly she performs for private events and even helps to organize the flow performances at the flow centric electronic music event “Flow State” at Aztec Brewery.
