Sandwich has been a player in the 805 scene since 1998 and President of Medium Enterprises. He’s chalked up 25 years of making things happen and the physical manifestation of “805 for life”. Is local legend too strong a term? Only time will tell. Now, knocking on the door of his twilight years, Sandwich still brings it like it’s already been broughten, with sub-manic energy and a steady stream of subverting sub-genres. He brings everything from Chicago house to UK bass, when you least expect, expect it. If you’re lucky he might even go “full Sandwich”. He still loves supporting the scene. He still loves throwing beach parties. He still loves San Pellegrino even though Johnny V told him to cut that crap out.
