Gitana Martinez has traveled extensively and has integrated various teaching methodologies, spiritual disciplines, fitness practices, expressive arts and healing techniques into her transformational coaching practice. She is an Integrated Fitness Therapist that combines her background of bodywork therapy modalities, Personal Training / Pilates certifications, BA in Transformational Healing Arts and a MA Transpersonal Psychology: Specialization in Expressive Arts and Transformational Life Coaching. Gitana also brings 25 plus years of Astrology, journeywork, ritual and community building to her practice.
Gitana is the artistic director of "Tales of A Dollhouse." She is a mixed media storyteller creating art that releases hidden feelings. Gitana creates sacred containers for people to explore personal heroic stories of empowerment and inherited socio-spiritual patterns. The workshops she facilitates honor the transformation of personal stories into inspiring legends of triumph. She has practiced as a bilingual teacher, mental health counselor, community organizer and healer in Santa Cruz for over sixteen years. Gitana is dedicated to the facilitation of each individual’s personal growth, optimal fitness and integrative health. Her curriculum embraces transpersonal studies, nature based spirituality, spirit embodied fitness, expressive arts and ritual.

    Physical Mind Pilates supports an intelligent and efficient use of breath, body mechanics and focused intention to strengthen, lengthen, and revitalize the human body.
    Designed to ultimately support and empower the individual through body awareness and meditative centering, this is an amazing way to begin the day.

  • Bridge Building - Art & Advocacy
    Day: Saturday | Duration: 120 min. | Location: Art Dome in Goddess Grove

    This 2hr workshop integrates a discussion on socio-spiritual justice topics with expressive arts. This workshop will address some of the post-modern impacts of colonization and the concept of allyship. It will provide a safe space to explore culture and identity, and connect with inner guide wisdom to bring personal clarity on what we can individually contribute to reconciliation. This workshop will offer creative exploration of these topics to transform and build bridges of understanding, using the setting of "Transformational Festivals" as an example.

    Modalities: Hypnotherapy, Video, Collaging and Spoken Word

    Topics explored: Race, Culture and Identity / Indigenous Rights / Liberation Work

    This workshop is a part of the CoEvolution Institute's transformational healing arts curriculum that integrates various schools of thoughts: consciousness studies, historical collections of social philosophies, overviews of systems of government, applied nature studies, eco-stewardship studies, creative arts and multi-cultural diversity training. It is the synthesis of all these studies that begins to a lay the foundation for a truly integrated socio-spiritual approach to the transformation healing arts field.
