Ixchel Prisma is a multi-talented “Bringer of Beauty.” An artist, musician and dancer with over 15 years of experience in the performing and visual arts, Ixchel is dedicated to sharing the universe’s many forms of beauty through creative self expression. She travels all over the globe sharing her medicine songs, body art, dance performance, and other unique gifts. Ixchel’s resonant and potent voice serves as a channel for sacred sound healing, and her purpose is to spread a musical message of oneness, love and healing to the planet. Her dance is an offering to Source, and is a true, raw expression of tribal awakening. Ixchel’s colorful and creative body art adornments inspire people to step into their full “avatar selves” and bear their inner beauty on the outside, for all to enjoy. Ixchel also serves as a priestess of the Sacred Feminine and lives by the ideal that “All life is a ceremony.” Everything we do is sacred, and is a direct offering to the divine source. Rainbow Body Beauty Playshop: Body Art Party and Tutorial
Duration: 120 min. |Let us gather together to celebrate life’s vibrant color and beauty through artistic self expression. Get painted, adorn yourselves and each other and step into your full “Avatar Self”… We will be using face and body paint, henna, glitter, gems, hair styling, and more to awaken the inner beauty and be confidant in flaunting it for all to see. All ages and genders are welcome and safe to explore all forms of expressing beauty. Ixchel will teach some fundamental face and body painting techniques, and we can all practice on each other. We will also learn to apply the power of healing Reiki energy to the artistic creative flow. Face and body painting is an intimate way to connect to each other, and when you add the power of intention and healing, your body art becomes a visual representation of your prayers and intentions! Whether you desire a full beauty transformation, or just a little bit of extra face flair, come paint and play with us!!
Weaving Lucidity: Making Dreamcatchers
Duration: 120 min. |Learn to create your own unique tool for the dream realm. This will be a crafting ceremony. We will all learn the dreamcatcher weave and have the opportunity to create our own dreamcatchers. While crafting, we will discuss our dreams: the dreams we experience while we sleep, as well as the dreams we have for our waking lives. Tips on lucid dreaming and remembering our dreams will be discussed. We will also weave our dreams, desires, ambitions, and manifestations into our dream catchers, so that they may serve as physical totems and reminders of all the we are calling in. We will take this opportunity to catch the “nightmares”, or things we wish to remove from our lives, in our webs and release them, allowing the dreams we want to pass through the openings we create. Supplies will be provided, but please bring any special beads, feathers, charms, etc. that you wish to include in your magical creation.
