Panel: Cultural Literacy: Becoming Allies
In this time of great transformation, it’s time to create a new dialogue about race, marginalization and alliance. While living in a multi-cultural society with a long history of racism, genocide and cultural appropriation, we have never been closer to the global lineages of ancient cultures and traditions that are here to guide our remembrance back to a way of balance and harmony. This panel will explore the social and personal levels of the dynamic tension that exists for those living in and advocating for marginalized societies. This workshop will create a transparent space of honest dialogue for understanding and exploring how to transform the ways we relate to race, cultural and with one another with honor, dignity and respect.
