Julia Grace has been heavily involved in acrobatics sense she was a little girl. Her path toward being a circus artist began with eight years of competitive gymnastics, followed by four years of coaching recreational and competitive gymnastics. Julia felt a burning desire to explore aerial arts after seeing her first circus performance at the age of 20. Ever sense that moment in 2010 she has been passionately expressing herself by getting lifted; dabbling with corde lisse, hammock, cube, lyra, silks, pole and Chinese pole. Over the last two years she has become fascinated by corde lisse (vertical rope), her favorite and specialty apparatus. Julia is provoked by self expression, driven by the process of creation and challenged by the infinite innovations that aerial arts offers. Unifying the forces of balance and gravity, Julia gracefully and intricately flys through space redefining the boundaries of modern day aerial.
