Dear Beloveds began as a folk band consisting of siblings Elisa and Gunnar, based in Ojai, California. After performing duo for two years they met bassist and electronic music producer Oliwa Sparkles (He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister) at Burning Man and instantly fell in love. They invited him to join them as bandmate and co-producer for their debut EP, “Emergence.” Through this fruitful collaboration, Dear Beloveds new sound is expanding on their folk origins, layering lush synthesizers, electronic beats, and orchestral textures.
