Your dream world is only a blink away…
Our mind and intuition are capable of tapping into so many unknowns in our life. Our futures, our destiny, our higher selves. You name it, we can access it!
Recently, I’ve been asking the bigger questions in life about my life path. Many of my dreams graze the surface and give me a glimpse of how certain situations in my life are supposed to play out.
Lucid dreaming can really improve your psychic potential and provide you some peace of mind, or even inspire a completely different way of thinking! But learning to do so can seem pretty tricky or intimidating at first glance.
Well why not start with trying? It is after all the starting place of everything. The beginning that is. So let’s start there!
Here are five tips to help tap into your lucid dreaming:

1. Setting a Healthy Sleep Schedule
When you sleep and wake up at the same time each day, your mind and body will connect to create muscle memory. This muscle memory will become stronger and stronger with each time you create the habit.
Try waking up at the same time each day, between the hours of 8-9 am, in order to refine the potential for recollection in your dream world.
2. Keep Your Eyes Closed for Recollection Before Writing
The easiest way to prevent the influence of reality is to keep the eyes closed upon waking up, and marinating on the dream experience you just had. After that, catalogue your dreams in a journal and let your lucidity be written in ink - as to realize your dreams in a concrete way.

What helps me with recollection is wearing an eye mask in bed. When I wake up, the natural light does not shock my system and creates a subtle awakening experience to my psyche.
In this way, I can slowly re-enter my reality, knowing in full confidence that my dreams are in fact slowly affecting it without being influenced by outside stimuli.
3. Consume Certain Foods and Vitamins
Vitamin B6 is a great supplement to take for strengthening local synapses within our brain, so we can better achieve lucid dreaming. Another simple recommendation is upping your fruit intake.
The natural sugars, antioxidants, and potassium in fruit intoxicate the gut. The mind and gut are interconnected, so start with the food you are eating. That way your mind’s resting and active state becomes all the more effective in creating and recalling your dreams!

4. Don’t Stop Dreaming When You’re Awake
If you can, try to recall your dreams as soon as you wake up! This way, your dreams are super fresh and not distracted by external stimuli. Refer back to tip #1 for more information.
Stay with your dreams and let them stay with you. This is not always an easy task, but making it a point to do so will be a huge help!
5. Set an Intention for your Dream State
Before bed, tell yourself that you are going to have great dreams. Your dreams will give you the best glimpses of your state of reality, and will foretell your wildest potential.
When you wake up, tell yourself you are going to dream even bigger than you did when you were sleeping. The thought and intention of putting your heart into dream land will cheer your mood, and create a perfect start and end to your day.
Look forward to your dream palace, and take note of how it can hint at your ultimate goals and aspirations.
