“Art is magic. Through art we have the ability to create a vehicle for incredibly potent and valuable ideas that we can use to weave into culture, evoke real emotions, and birth new realities by creating a visceral experience for the audience that fills them with hope and inspiration. As a story teller and a film maker, I am honoured to be able to help document the incredible experience that is the Lucidity Festival. To me the Lucidity Festival is a beautiful microcosm of the macrocosm in terms of the collective shift in consciousness that is happening on this planet right now. It is a portal that brings together some of the most beautiful people and minds of this age who are already educated and courageous wisdom holders of topics related to lucid dreaming, metaphysics, mindfulness, infinity, and beyond. Because of this, I consider the festival to be the perfect stage to create the Journey to Lucidity Movie Saga. Yes the movie is about my own experience of the festival from a gonzo journalism perspective - but so much more of it is about everyone else - about all of us - and our collective ‘Journey to Lucidity’. The first movie (Journey to Lucidity: The Planted Seed) has already reached and inspired thousands, and I know the sequel will continue along with this pattern. It truly is an honour to be able to help create something for all of us as a momento of where we are - and more importantly - where we are going.”
