Why do I only see privileged white people? Where are the people of color?
There is nice diversity among our family, you will find it if you come experience it for yourself. Apologies that this particular piece of media doesn’t fairly represent that diversity. Finally, does white assume privilege in all cases?
I know that this was posted nearly 6 months ago, but I’ve been wanting to respond.
I have attended every Lucidity Festival to date. I would refer to myself as someone heavy on the pigment end of our colorful spectrum of humanity.
I can say I was VERY privileged to be at this event and loved each and every moment of it.
