Xeno

Xeno is a word that means alien or strange. The music of Xeno is very alien but uses elements of trap and hip hop with an emotional tug. Melodies from electric guitar and arpeggiated synths lead you to climactic drops of brutal bass. Tempo changes and vast key centers take the listener on an unexpected musical journey with surprises and moments of resolution. To top it off, its all happening live, yes, live electronic music. Using Ableton, a drum machine, synthesizers, electric guitar, and a loop pedal, Xeno’s performance is a live looping, layering of voices/beats, and improvisational performance creating a mesmerizing experience for the audience. This way the audience can feel more deeply connected to the living music that Xeno creates.
