Copenhagen’s Shield is fast becoming a key artist in the halftime beats scene, fusing his long history as a bass music producer with a background as a classical percussionist.

While completing his Masters Degree in percussion at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, his track ‘Horror Movie’ caught the attention of Ivy Lab, who after supporting it on their Rinse FM Critical Sound show subsequently signed him to their 20/20 LDN imprint. The ‘My Flava’ EP, his debut release with the label, received massive support by scene leaders such as Noisia, Alix Perez, Sub Focus, DJ Craze and Tipper.

Shield’s performances always brings out great energy and the musicality in his selection has a wild mixture of heavy bass driven beats and drum&bass. Always be prepared for a crazy journey, when Shield enters the stage!
