S’akiibaum

S’akiibaum is the psychedelic bass project of New York native turned California transplant, Summer Sunshine Broeckx-Smith. Classically trained, she seeks to spread respect, awareness, and eudaimonic emotion through musical treasures that meld the drippity bloopity sounds of your mind’s consciousness with the deep, bassy tones of the Earth. S’akiibaum has performed at festivals, such as the Lucidity Festival Deja Vu Campout and Kosmic Gardenz, and played beside bass and glitch artists like CloZee, Charlesthefirst, & LabRat. She can frequently be found blowing up dance floors from the mountains down to the sea with the Santa Barbara bass music collective, Bass Exploration Unit.
