Mestizo Beat is a 7 piece ensemble algamating the music of funk, soul, Afro-Beat, and Afro-Cuban ryhtms. Based out of Los Angeles the band is highly inspired by the music of James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic, Fela Kuti, and the meters. There set and performance paints the picture of a high energy dance party combing and fusing rhythms from all over the globe that tie into one universal pulse.
