Fracture

Fracture is a connoisseur of fine cuisine and hot sauces. He also runs the Astrophonica label and has been making and releasing music for over ten years, including collaborations with long-term partner Neptune. His music has appeared on pioneering labels such as Metalheadz and Exit Records. He makes electronic dance music that isn’t easily categorisable.

One thing is for sure: his music gets girls moving. Fracture is most at home making music for people to dance while still taking risks and trying to move things forward. ‘Get Busy’, released by dBridge’s Exit Records, is a perfect example of that approach. The track received support across the board including Mark Pritchard, Chrissy Murderbot, Om Unit, Daedelus and more.

Astrophonica also embraces this open minded ethic. Focused on releasing music across a spectrum of tempos it has so far been home to Dawn Day Night, Machinedrum, Moresounds and Om Unit, each a daring artist in his own right. The label’s back catalogue is also home to the majority of Fracture and Neptune’s work. A flair for rhythm and space, a disposition for risk-taking and a thirst for the new are what makes Fracture one of the finest DJ and producers around.
