Chief Jesta

Jesta is a multi-media producer from Los Angeles, California. After departing film school, he set out to build a creative platform accessible to anybody, utilizing the force of a collaborative community. In 2013 Jesta and his two co-founders Davoid & Raskal used their shared passionate vision to bring the production company & music label Noise Revolt into a reality. Through his love of music, Jesta has pushed to the frontline of the the West Coast art frontier with the intention to inspire people to believe in their own creative potential as much as he has in his own.

In recent years, Chief Jesta has set out on a conquest to shape the future of the drum & bass scene on the West Coast. After establishing Noise Revolt’s drum & bass brand Momentive, he has hosted Los Angeles warehouse parties with Respect founder Machete, Dela Moontribe of the Moontribe Collective, Alix Perez, and recently a debut of UK label Flexout Audio. With his love for a wide range of music genres including everything from hip-hop, breaks, techno, drum and bass, experimental, and an array of live musical elements, Chief Jesta has produced and portrayed a sound that dances in the duality of the light and dark. He expresses a tone that tickles the loving groove of the soul in multidimensional soundscapes that cloud deep and dark aggression. He has shared the stage with producers such as Thriftworks, G Jones, Asa, Submorphics, Machete, Shigeto, Alix Perez, and many more!
