Soaring Snowflakes

Mandala Umbra was a tiny seed discovered by Gwendolyn as she bopped around the art production side of the festival scene for years working with the diversely capable Lycra blend Fabric and learning more about the Flower of life. Here bloomed the idea to create this sacred design while up cycling the abundant scrap fabric from other projects.

Soaring Snowflakes captures the wind element and breathes and flows with our environment in a mesmerizing way. Each unique patterned Snowflake displays the Shadow or “Umbra” of the Flower of life design. All linked together at a distance that gives them the illusion of flying, soaring, hovering, gliding and falling like soft frozen snow in the wind down to earth.
