Moksha

Moksha Marquardt is a self-taught traditional artist from Seattle Washington. He has lived in the Pacific Northwest since 1977 and the natural wonders there have had the deepest influence on his work. Nearly all of his subject matter touches on the balance of life and death in nature. Moksha has been a professional artist since 1994. For over 20 years he worked in the computer games industry creating digital environment art. He worked in 2D, 3D, and virtual reality, and also served as a designer, writer and concept artist over the years. Recently he is focused on making traditional art full-time. He has worked as a live painter at festivals since 2015 and regularly exhibits his work in the Seattle area.
