Michael Strauss

Michael Strauss is a live visual artist/VJ, and event producer. He has been crafting immersive environments and multi-dimensional visual projections for over 10 years. Michael’s live video mixing and custom animated music videos have enhanced the performances of countless legendary artists. His work has been seen on the main stages of festivals such as Lightning in a Bottle, Sonic Bloom, Symbiosis, Lucidity, Serenity Gathering, and Electric Daisy Carnival.

Michael was the lead visual artist for the Temple of Consciousness at Lightning in a Bottle 2014-2016, Lover’s Nest at Lucidity for its entire run, and managed all visuals for The Untz Festival in 2016. Michael is a regular at Alex Grey’s CoSM in New York, and he has been a part of hundreds of performances at nearly every venue in the Los Angeles area with top production crews such as Grateful Generation, Bassrush, Subtract Music, Incognito, Luminous Movement, Pulse LA/SF, Pulsar, Amori’s, I.AM.LIFE, and many others. He is also a co-founder of the Visual Reality collective, hosting pioneering events combining audiovisual art and consciousness with emerging tech such as VR.

Michael is the embodiment of a modern-day wizard, using art and technology to transform consciousness.
