Born in 1986 and raised in rural Ohio, Logan Walden is the son of Chris Walden, a professional wildlife artist native to New Zealand. Logan’s parent’s laid the footpath to a creative lifestyle at an early age. After years of working in the film industry, Logan was intro- duced to the “visual performing arts scene” in 2010 at Lightning in a Bottle, a Transformational Music and Arts Festival in southern CA. From that point on, Logan’s life was, indeed, transformed. He found his calling as an artist and moved home to OH from CA to study acrylic under his father in 2012. Since then, Logan’s surreal style of Fantastical Sci-Fi with deep narratives and rich color pallets, has made it’s way into festivals, concerts, galleries and street shows around the United States.

As if broadcasting my voice over my own radio station, my art has become a necessary means of expression and channeling the world’s influences to the public. I paint what comes to me. I listen to house music obsessively. It gives my mind space to think, yet, it’s energetic nature amplifies my emotions and funnels my imagination toward vibrant visions that manifest themselves onto paper or canvas. Once a painting is finished it’s message becomes clear. The message is usually a derivative of whatever has been happen- ing in my personal life at the time. When I relate to someone through my images I’ve done what I’ve set out to do;

to be understood.
