Ajra Sunevra resides in Maine and is mainly self-taught. Her work is inspired by ancient wisdom, sacred symbols, the beauty of nature, and the heartbeat of music. To sculpt a page or canvas into symmetry, she uses a compass tool and ruler to measure, sometimes for many hours, allowing geometric beginnings to unfold. With watercolors and inks, she awakens new worlds, painting the space for portals of energy to emerge. To lose herself in colors brings her endless joy.

She strives to reach beyond herself, listening to the heart of humanity, as it whispers truth through the veins of Earth, to the stars.
