Dr. Rachel

Dr. Rachel Stricker completed her medical training at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and her yoga teacher training at Dave’s Ashtanga Yoga, both in Arizona. She is currently the owner and operator of Illumination Wellness in Eugene, Oregon, where she offers private yoga lessons, bodywork, shamanic healing, emotional wound clearance and naturopathic family medicine. She also leads a monthly women’s talking circle at her wellness studio. Over the past 3 years, Dr. Rachel has traveled the US teaching Ayurvedic, natural healing and higher consciousness workshops and retreats. She loves to interweave the principles of her training and education with her own intuitive gifts and deep understanding of the human spirit. Dr. Rachel works with sacred snake and spider medicine and is an expert in holistic medicine and the emotional body.

    This workshop is offered to present women a time to connect deeply with the energy of their breasts, which epitomizes the Sacred Feminine attributes of love, compassion, beauty and nurturance. We'll discuss the physical, emotional and energetic attributes of our breasts. We'll discuss how the breasts grow and change with us through our life transitions from maiden to mother to crone. We'll discuss causes of breast dis-ease and ways to naturally prevent and treat them. We’ll draw fascinating comparisons between Earth’s lands and the breasts, as well as discuss energetic lines that flow through the chest, including the heart chakra. Participants will receive guidance on doing a loving and healing self-breast massage with herbal oil for increasing tone and circulation. This unique class is one of empowerment, connection and love.

  • Your Amazing Brain

    The brain and nervous system is what allows us to experience our internal and external worlds. It is this experience that creates our reality. We will discuss the astonishing anatomy and physiology of the brain and nervous system and how it mimics the universe itself. We will discuss the brain’s role in pain, pleasure, conditioning, habits and addictions and ways that we can rewire these connections to create positive changes in our lives. We’ll also learn practical applications for connecting to collective consciousness and accessing our limitless potential.
