Tika Moini is an artist and dancer based in Los Angeles, CA. Dancing ballet rigorously since the age of 4, Tika has been performing ever since, with her first role in Ballet Pacifica’s “The Nutcracker” in 1996. She continued
to practice ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and yoga, while incorporating the hula-hoop into her practice and dance routines. In 2012, she received her BA in Art Studio from UC, Santa Barbara. After graduating, Tika began teaching Hoop and Dance classes and performing at events throughout California and Nevada, such as California Roots, Blaze’N’Glory, Reggae in the Desert, and Lucidity Festival, as well as, performing alongside acts such as La Femme, The Gaslamp Killer, and Hirie. Tika Moini is currently a choreographer, instructor, and performer, for the greater Los Angeles area, as well as, the performance and live art director for Divine Species.
