Chella is blessed to have found her path of healing bodywork over eight years ago in Boulder Colorado.  Much the gypsy soul, her travels and passion went hand in hand as she explored the world gathering healing wisdom along the way. The question “what style of bodywork do you do?” is often asked of her, and not so easily answered.  The reason is that every interaction is it’s own story, and what’s needed is unveiled in it’s telling.  That said, she has a tool box of yumminess that includes myofascial, deep tissue, ayurvedic treatments (abhyanga, shirodhara,), thai, heartworks lomi lomi, and reiki.  Her main teacher was Lee Joseph on the island of Kauai at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork, who not only taught her the depth of listening and patience with myofascial work, but also how to hold awareness and space for emotional and subtle body layers to be witnessed as well. Most recently she has spent time at Esalen learning deep therapeutic techniques, and Mount Madonna retreat center learning Ayurvedic systems.  Although her travles have taken her to many locations, she mostly can be found these days somewhere between Baja and Alaska….. it’s a treat to catch her with us!
