Douglas Keliiheleua Kleinsmith is a visual artist based out of the Sacramento area, currently working as a freelance muralist and showing work throughout the West Coast. His personal work explores process art, focusing on the act of creating rather than what is being created. Reminiscent of Art Therapy and Abstract Expressionism, his work juxtaposes past ideologies and present technologies, examining the connections between the subjective act of creating, and the human experience. Douglas utilizes visual art to explore and understand the self, and through his own filter, hopes to help others do the same.
