Ash Tree is a California Certified Massage Therapist, trained in Swedish Massage, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Deep Tissue, Neurostructural Bodywork, Pregnancy Massage, and Craniosacral Therapies at McKinnon Body Therapy Center and Kali Institute for Massage and Somatic Therapies. She has been instructed in Sanskrit mantras by Swami Sitaramananda and received her Yoga Teacher Training (RYT) at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm. She currently maintains a private massage practice in Ojai, CA. She has taught Yoga & Acupressure workshops at many California festivals, and she is a collaborating Healer with the Healing Sanctuaries at Desert Hearts, Lucidity Festivals, Lightning in a Bottle, Firefly Gatherings, Northern Nights Music Festival, and Enchanted Forest Gathering. She utilizes the ancient knowledge of Meridians and Acupressure points in the body to inform Swedish and deep tissue massages, combining modalities for a fuller experience; she also offers Sanskrit Mantra chanting, singing bowls, drumming, and essential oils for protection, clearing residual energies, and creating sacred space. She teaches people how to help themselves with simple Acupressure points and yoga poses.
