RANDY ROSE went to Catholic school as a rosebud. She knows that you think this “explains everything,” but it was in fact a childhood obsession with all things Gypsy (musical, person, TV movie starring Bette Midler) that inspired her performing career, with religious repression of sexuality a distant second.

Ever the rabblerouser, Randy likes to push the boundaries of both classic burlesque and common decency with her performances. Ms. Rose has performed in LA and Santa Barbara, with many gigs for SB juggernauts Fishbon and Lucidity Festivals under her barely-there belt. She has studied with such luminaries as Jo “Boobs” Weldon of New York, Penny Starr Jr. of Los Angeles, and Michelle L’Amour of Chicago.

When not twirling her tassels and titillating audiences, Randy can be found petting her pussies, baking, writing, and pursuing her self-directed studies in chocolate.
