Elie Katzenson

Elie Katzenson, after experiencing a miscarriage by choice, realized that few spaces were intentionally created for women who have experienced abortions or miscarriages. She believes that a lack of community support following this type of event is often traumatizing + alienating and hopes to create a space of safety, acceptance, peace, and connection. She studies Political Science and Peace + Conflict Studies at UC Berkeley where she seeks to infuse political understanding and research with consideration of marginalized populations such as women and ethnic minorities.
