  • Workshop: Finding Your Path as a Leader - Support Networks for Emerging Visionaries

Day: Sunday Time: 12:30 PM Location: Sustainability (Lucid University - Permaculture Action Hub)

The first section of the workshop will be an interactive discussion of the resources and support networks that are available in the new economy for change-makers, social entrepreneurs, and anyone who desires to materialize their dreams in the physical realm. We will address mentorship networks, emerging models for personalized education, strategies for crowd-funding, identifying and leveraging your unique resources, and available resources in the startup ecosystem.

David has taken PNM from a conceptual idea to a financed startup project, recruited a team of technical co-founders, and received acceptance into a Chilean government business accelerator program. David will share techniques for attracting resources, project management, compassionate leadership, team-building, and conflict meditation.

In addition to building out a web platform to connect passionate individuals to experiences internationally, PNM has been involved in the planning and execution of an international bus tour for sustainability education, the production of retreats, networking events, and permaculture workshop stages at festivals. PNM’s not-for-profit arm is currently in the process of designing its first land-based immersive education center in Guatemala on donated property. The center will be focused on demonstrating regenerative lifestyles, and intercultural exchange.
