Brian “Frumberg” Coe is a passionate advocate of invoking the artist within us all. A writer, photographer, storyteller & musician, Coe places just as much importance on inspiring others to create art as he does on making his own. Look for him handing out haiku to strangers, performing spontaneous spoken word on the drum kit or conducting progressive experiments with Easy Cheese. His “Step Write Up” collaborative writing booth will be open to the public at Lucidity for the fourth consecutive year, so make him proud by offering your own unique contribution to the common canvas which we all share.

then send a piece of paper around to write during workshop…
2:30 p.m. MIXED METAPHORS: make master list and start fusing, altering, etc.
2:45 p.m. HAIKU / RENGA – give history, “rules,” early authors, examples, show
high-coo album, come up with a couple together, write down our own
3:15 p.m. 10-SECOND STORIES – pick topic (embarrassing?) and share!
3:30-3:45 BREAK (come up with charades topics & write down on paper scraps)
3:45 p.m. CHARADES – the art of using no words.
4:15 p.m. BRAINSTORM – ways that we can write more, share more, ideas for lucidity boards, disciplines, etc…
4:30 p.m. READ OUR PASSAROUND STORY
4:40 p.m. MUSIC – invite guests to freestyle rap, sing, play instruments, tell
tell stories to music, play music to stories, etc…
5 p.m. FINAL THOUGHTS, THANK GUESTS, KEEP IT GOING…
