Mention who you are and who you want to bring to Lucidity in the beginning of your video. This helps us to immediately connect with you.
Video Production
Your video should express your message to our fellow Lucidians and be an invitation to that special person you’d like to share Lucidity with. You do not need the overall best video production or editing, an iPhone is perfect for the job, just make sure your audio is clear and there’s not a lot of background noise. Record your video in a horizontal position for the best results.
Please make sure that you can be heard and seen to the greatest extent possible. Don’t worry about the production quality, just have fun and express yourself.
Video Length
Your video is best between 1 to 3 minutes.
Releases
We would love to see more people in your videos but be sure to get full releases from any other individuals that are included within your video. This ensures that you can use the video with the image or voice of the person who signs the release.
Inappropriate Material
Please be mindful to limit any profanity, vulgarity, violence, nudity and/or sexual content accordingly.
Copyright Infringement
Please don’t use copyrighted work in your video. This includes playing music in the background or using somebody else’s work that you don’t have the rights to.
Rights
By submitting your video to Lucidity LLC you are giving us permission to use your video and image in our marketing materials, now and in the future, in any form, whole or in part.
Contest Dates
The contest runs March 12 - 30, 2015. No entries will be accepted after noon on Monday the 30th. Winner will be announced on Tuesday, March 31st.
Entry
Follow these steps to enter on the contest page:
- Record a 1-3 minute video of yourself on your camera or phone.
- Upload your video to YouTube, Instagram, or Vine and copy the video url.
- Fill out the entry form below, including your video link.
- Use the “Vote” tab on the entry form below to vote for your favorite entries!
- Share your video on social media using #kindredfound with the contest page link and ask your friends to vote for your video!
- You can enter as many times as you like with different video invitations, but only one ticket will be awarded to the entry with the most votes.
Winning
The video entry with the most votes at the end of the contest on March 30th will receive a full 3 day entry pass to Lucidity for their loved one. So be sure to share your video and ask your friends to vote!
