Cocréa Mindful Partner Dance
Since 2020 Cocréa has evolved this offering and has expanded to combine the geniuses of Odessa Avianna Perez, Valora Volumptua, and Cocréa founder, Wren LaFeet. Each have their own distinct practices and skill sets they are bringing to fulfill the vision of Cocréa as an emergent, healing movement practice for developing presence, opening gateways to creativity, empowering mindful leaders and followers and generating authentic connection in relationship. We focus on how dance can enhance and expand relationships into a deeply connected, honest and powerful tool for personal, interpersonal and collective transformation. All three facilitators bring robust toolboxes for generating coherence, intimacy and embodiment within spaces they hold. They envision a world in which everyone has access to a living syllabus of empowering tools for embodied relating which honor the present truth of each being.
Wren is a somatic permissionary in his 8th year of facilitating this work, a certified Danyasa Inspired Yoga Instructor, certified Attunement Therapy Practitioner, former Awake At Work mindfulness facilitator, graduate of Do Good Things with Power Embodied Leadership Program lead by Zahava Griss, a TEDx speaker and featured author in ReInhabiting the Village.
Odessa is a trauma-informed therapist and somanaut with an MA in Somatic Psychology from CIIS and over 2 decades of dance and contact improv experience. She helps folks heal from fragmentation and remember agency and belonging. She loves to engage somatics and movement to explore safety, relationship, building capacity for discomfort, interdependence and inclusion.
Valora has been traversing the exquisite realm at the intersection of relationships, sexuality, and erotic embodiment as her profession for 8 years, and is trained in the Somatica® Method of Sex and Relationship Coaching. She views relationship as a necessary primary focus for the transformation of humanity into a healthier, more connected world, and dance as a powerful vehicle for this transformation.
