Chanté Glover

Chanté Glover is a creative spirit and has always had her hands in many pots. Chanté (pronouns- they/them or she/her) is a non-binary artist from Santa Barbara, who has spent much of her life pondering the universe and traveling the world by boat, bike, foot, and thumb. She has dedicated herself to the arts (painting, photography, preforming arts, tattooing, music and other crafts) while continually seeking alternative ways of living harmoniously with the earth and in diverse community. Since landing back in Santa Barbara, she has been committed to encouraging healthy creative expression in our community through the development and founding of several arts collaboratives and events including TOTEM, NOOK Storytelling and Wild Arts Collective.

  • Visionary Panel: Rites of Passage and Inter-Generational Connection

120 min | Altar of Spirit

What role does the rites of passage play in our evolution from cradle to grave? How has the meaning of the “rites of passage” shifted in modern times, and how can we honor the rites of passage in a culture that doesn’t have conscious ritual around the ongoing changes of a person from youth to adulthood and beyond? How do we bridge between youngers and elders to create a strong inter-generational connection rooted in our understandings of individual and collective growth?
