Kiss the Ground

Kiss the Ground is a California-based 501c3 environmental nonprofit sharing our ability to regenerate land and reverse climate change by building back healthy soil. KTG’s mission is to inspire participation in the global movement to restore soils. Their Business Program develops relationships with business and corporations in order to help them understand the benefits of investing in soil health in their supply chains, and as a result make soil health commitments.

Anne Martin is the Business Program Lead of Kiss the Ground.

Kiss the Ground creates media including a co-produced documentary releasing this year, campaigns, and educational curriculum that raise awareness and empower individuals to take action. To support farmers, Kiss the Ground raises money for farmer training, advocates for healthy soils on a local, state, and national level, and works with companies to transition their supply chains to support farmers building healthy soil. They are also working on developing a line of products that are sourced from farms building healthy soil.

60 min | Altar of Earth

Regenerative agriculture has the capacity to not only restore our soil, but also to reverse climate change. How do we get business leaders to invest in helping to save our planet? We can start by convincing brands to invest in ingredients sourced from regenerative farms. Learn about how Kiss the Ground is working to build a new food system--one that connects eco-conscious farmers with brands willing to leave behind the old model of extractive capitalism for a new regenerative vision.
