Ash Tree

Ash loves to integrate accessible touch and healing into our lives! She is a Certified Massage Practitioner, trained in Swedish Massage, Acupressure, and Shiatsu at McKinnon Body Therapy Center. She uses the knowledge of Meridians in the body to inform Swedish and deep tissue massages, often combining modalities for a fuller experience. During sessions, she uses a combination of mantra chanting, singing bowls, and essential oils for protection, clearing residual energies, and creating sacred spaces. Her massage and healing work based on recognizing the natural resonance in all of us to thrive and come into balance. She is a Hatha yoga teacher as well, and teaches workshops combining the similar systems of Yoga, Acupressure, and Shiatsu (Shiatsu is a lot like facilitated yoga!). Trained in the Fundamentals of Ayurveda, she can give you lifestyle and food tips to balance the elements in body-mind with the elements in the environment. She is a continual student, inspired by patterns in nature and the magick underlying this existence.

Healing Description

My approach to healing is based on the belief that our bodies and minds naturally come back to balance and thrive if we allow it. I love bringing touch into everyday life. I can work with people anywhere, suited to needs and level of comfort, whether it's an oil-based Swedish Massage on a table, or a clothes-on, accessible Acupressure or Shiatsu session on the ground. I enjoy teaching people how to help themselves with simple Acupressure points or yoga poses/stretches. During sessions, I use a combination of Sanskrit mantra chanting, singing bowls, and essential oils for protection, clearing residual energies, and creating sacred spaces. Food is one of our best medicines, and I love cooking and sharing food with people as a means of community healing.
